International Health
Charity Association (IHCA)

The International Health Charity Association (IHCA) is a nonprofit organization founded in Switzerland in 2024 with the mission of advancing global health equity through the responsible use of technology and global cooperation. We aim to bridge gaps in access, capacity, and innovation—especially in underserved regions—by catalyzing collaboration between technology pioneers, health professionals, grassroots organizations, and global institutions.
IHCA was initiated by Chinese philanthropist Xingjia Chen, who has represented Chinese civil society at the United Nations and continues to champion the voice of grassroots innovation in global health. In 2024, IHCA entered a partnership with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and now hosts key events at the AI for Good Global Summit.

Our Flagship Initiatives

Qijia AI
Family Mental Health Coach
Developed by IHCA’s partners and volunteers in China, Qijia AI is a free, open-source family mental health assistant.
  • Its mission: to build family support systems and prevent mental health crises through early intervention, education, and AI-powered counseling tools.
  • Target users include parents struggling with adolescent communication, caregivers under pressure, and underserved communities without access to psychological support.
  • Qijia AI is currently in large-scale beta testing and is expected to launch publicly in 2026.
AI for Good
Social Innovation Network
Inspired by the idea of cognitive surplus and Clay Shirky’s vision that “the world isn’t running out of talent—it’s just not organizing it well,” IHCA is building a Social Innovation Network to match AI expertise with social missions.
  • This is not a company or a charity—but a civic infrastructure that allows volunteers, researchers, and institutions to co-create AI solutions for mental health, education, and social equity.
  • It operates on principles of contribution, collaboration, and reputation, allowing professionals to participate in task-based volunteering, research projects, and community-building at scale.
